monster
monster is a full-length musical loosely inspired by mary shelley’s frankenstein. developed as a thesis for nyu’s graduate musical theatre writing program, it follows evie as she creates an ai modeled after the consciousness of her ancestor mary shelley. evie hopes the ai can write new stories, save her family’s failing publishing business, and finally earn her mother’s attention.
